medialogfy is a personal library for the games you play and the movies, series and anime you watch. This page explains, in plain words, what it collects, what it does with it, and how you can wipe all of it whenever you want.

Who we are

medialogfy is built and run by Enmanuel Magallanes. If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to enmanuelmag@gmail.com.

What we collect

It depends on how you sign in.

Sign in with Google — we receive your email address, your display name and your profile picture. Nothing else from your Google account is requested: no Drive, no Gmail, no Calendar, no Contacts.

Sign in with an email address — we receive the email address and the password you type in the form. The password is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google); it never reaches us and we never store it.

Continue as a guest — no personal data at all. A guest session only creates an anonymous account identifier.

In every case an internal account identifier is created for you, so your library can be linked to your account.

What you create inside the app — your game logs, your media logs (movies, series and anime), the tags you make and the smart lists you save.

How we use it

Only to sign you in, keep your session, and store and show the library content you create. Nothing you give us is used for any other purpose.

Analytics

On medialogfy.cardor.dev we use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics (plau.cardor.dev) to see how the site is used overall: page views, where visitors came from, and which browser, operating system, device type and country they are in.

Plausible does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not collect personally identifiable information. What it records is aggregated, and it is not tied to your account or to anything in your library. The script loads only on medialogfy.cardor.dev.

Who else is involved

Firebase Authentication (Google) — handles sign-in and holds your account credentials.

Plausible Analytics — the site analytics described above, running on our own infrastructure at plau.cardor.dev.

Those are the only two. There is no other analytics, advertising or marketing service anywhere on this site.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, everything tied to it is removed permanently and immediately — there is no waiting period and nothing is kept back.

Deleting your data

You can do it yourself, at any time, without asking anyone: sign in, open the account panel from the avatar in the top bar, and choose Delete Account. That deletes your account and all of your log data. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.

If you would rather we did it for you, write to enmanuelmag@gmail.com and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, or ask us to delete it — write to enmanuelmag@gmail.com. And if you would rather not give us an email address at all, you can use medialogfy as a guest.

Children

medialogfy is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to enmanuelmag@gmail.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

medialogfy is still growing, so what we collect may change as new features ship. When it does, this page and the date at the top change with it.
